Our Progress

What we have done, what we have learned, and what is coming up. We publish this because a business asking families to be open about money should be open about itself.

10
workshops delivered
134
people attended
11
sessions booked

As at 19 October 2026. The first session was on 1 May 2026.

How we count

A workshop counts once it has been delivered. Attendance is the number of people in the room on the day, counted by us or by the group that hosted us — not registrations, and not a sign-in sheet. A booked session is one with a date agreed; conversations still being arranged are not counted. If we get one of these numbers wrong, we will correct it here and say that we have.

Small rooms, on purpose

Ten people is a typical session. The smallest was four.

We are not trying to fill halls. The workshop works better as a conversation, where one person says out loud what they have been quietly worried about and three others recognise it. That does not happen in an auditorium.

What is coming up

Our next session is on 20 October. Eleven are booked in all, running through to May 2027.

If you would like one for your group, we come anywhere in Sydney and there is no cost — arrange a workshop.

What else we have been doing

Ten guides are published and free to read, with no account and no email address required — read the guides.

TrustCircle, the tool that lets the people you choose see your accounts without being able to move money, is still a prototype. We show it for ten minutes at the end of each workshop and change it based on what people tell us.
